Originally established in 1986 as Bengies Welding Service we then grew and transitioned into B.W.S. Industries, Inc. in 2006 and are a mid-sized structural, miscellaneous and custom steel fabricator and erection company located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mike Archer, owner of B.W.S Industries, Inc., states, “We are a family owned business with a goal to integrate a corporate attitude while maintaining the family values.” Mike has been serving as President since 2007. He has been married to I. Kristine since 1992 and is the proud father of four daughters. In addition to his family Mike brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a no non-sense leadership style. 

B.W.S. Industries, Inc. understands the need to work safely. That’s why we have aligned with Safety Training Plus, Inc., a full service safety consulting firm.

We have an organization agreement with Provident International, Inc. which is also owned and operated by Mike Archer that provides hoisting, hauling, backhoe, and crane services. Provident International, Inc. has a fifty-five ton all terrain crane, CAT backhoe and Bobcat services.
